This was my first time fishing on a charter ever. I've been fishing before, this experience exceed all of those! Provincetown is a nice area. I would recommend it to anyone!

Bring a hoodie and maybe pants cause the ride out and back can be a little chilly.

Just make sure you bring a cooler of water and drinks and lots of sunscreen and a hat that’s it. Those are the must have items.

Stay flexible with your schedule, weather makes a difference and the Captain is great about reaching out to work around bad weather. Farther off shore can get cold, bring a jacket or sweatshirt.

Absolutely! Captain Doug knows the water and knows how to cater to the people that he is taking out fishing. This is what he does and he is a professional and clever at changing bait based on what is working best that day 100% recommend this charter boat!!

Bottom fishing--100%. It was a bit slow on the Striper Bass as the water was cold, but the bottom fishing was HOT

We caught plenty of mackerel quickly for bait fish. The stripers were scarce and quiet along the Plum Island beach on the morning we fished. There was better action at the mouth of the Merrimack River, but also a lot of other boats on hand.

Technically we were in the waters off Provincetown. The bite was on for both stripers and bluefish and the ocean mammals were in close to shore which was an added bonus!

The water was a little colder than normal so it is a little more challenging to catch fish so you just have to be a little more patient.

We were fishing as the tide was going out. I don't know if Captain John had a fish magnet on board but we seemed to be pulling in fish from 16" to 46". In a party of 4, we managed to catch 20 fish off of squid jigs. It seemed to be quite the active day, with temperatures in the 80s and very little clouds in the sky.
